Project Description

Our clients built this lovely home many years ago and extended it as they raised their family. The home is incredibly well built but was in need of a renovation to give it a more contemporary look and feel and to upgrade the level of comfort and functionality in key areas.

Our scope included full renovations to two bathrooms, the laundry and powder room and a kitchen and living makeover. The existing flooring was replaced throughout with large format tiles and carpets. The whole home was painted; jarrah doors, trims, architraves and skirtings were painted out along with the existing pine clad kitchen/living ceiling- this in itself created a major transformation. From there, finishing touches including changing door hardware and lighting bought the project together.  Our client Irene worked closely with Casey of Studio Seventy Four who designed the cabinetry and bathroom layouts and consulted on cabinetry, paint, tile and flooring selections. The result is an elegant and beautifully comfortable home that reflects the style and personality of our clients to a tee.

This renovation was carried out over two stages with a small break in between, to enable our clients to live in one section of the home while we renovated the other. The project took just under four months to complete. Our clients helped to make the project a really smooth and the team so appreciated their energy and sense of fun- thank you Lou and Irene.

And from our clients…

Thanks to Kellie and her amazing team of tradespeople along with Casey’s interior design planning our house has been totally transformed. Kellie is incredibly well organized and her attention to every detail of this project meant it came in on time and on budget. Having Kellie project manage meant we had none of the stress usually associated with a renovation of this size as we knew she was across every aspect from scheduling to ordering materials to making sure any issues which came up were discussed and resolved on the spot.

Out of curiosity we had a real estate agent look through our house to give a value post renovation and he said it was the highest level of finish he had seen of a house in the area and was keen to know who had done the work. We did not renovate to sell, but it was nice to know that we had boosted our value by double what we have spent on it. All that is left for us to do now is to sit back and enjoy our beautiful “new” house! Thank you Kellie!!
